* >* Director of People Operations & Labour**Hello!**We're looking for a **Director of People Operations & Labour** to join the team and help us boost the company to the next level.**THE ROLE**The **Director of People Operations & Labour** role combines **deep labour law expertise**, **operational excellence**, and **strategic leadership** in a fast-growing, international tech environment. The Labour Relations Director will act as the **primary point of reference for all labour, regulatory and complex employee matters**, partnering closely with senior leadership to support sustainable growth.**Your responsibilities:****Labour Strategy & Business Alignment*** Define and execute the global labour relations strategy aligned with business priorities in a fast-growing international tech environment.* Act as the company’s primary authority on **Spanish labour law**, ensuring full legal compliance and risk mitigation.* Provide labour guidance and oversight across **other jurisdictions**, supporting international growth and local compliance.* Assess labour risks related to organizational changes, restructurings and operational scale-up.**Governance, Compliance & Policy Development*** Develop and maintain global labour policies, frameworks and procedures that ensure consistency, scalability and legal compliance.* Review and oversee employment contracts, contractual addenda, disciplinary frameworks and labour-related documentation.* Lead internal and external labour audits, ensuring documentation accuracy, traceability and regulatory compliance.* Implement monitoring and control mechanisms to ensure robust labour governance across all territories.**Union & Employee Representative Relations*** Define and manage the company’s strategy for relationships with works councils, employee representatives and unions.* Lead collective bargaining processes, consultations and formal information and negotiation procedures.* Represent the company in labour-related proceedings and formal interactions with social partners and authorities.**Leadership of People Operations*** Lead, develop and scale a high-performing People Operations team.* Ensure compliant management of Social Security procedures, contract changes, terminations and regulatory filings.* Oversee payroll governance and drive **process automation** to improve efficiency, scalability and accuracy, in close collaboration with Finance and external providers.* Ensure HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) compliance and risk-prevention standards across offices.**YOUR PROFILE*** 8–12+ years of experience in Labour Relations, Employment Law or Employee Relations, preferably in multinational or high-growth tech/SaaS environments.* Strong expertise in Spanish labour law and solid knowledge of international labour frameworks.* Proven experience managing complex ER cases, labour disputes, reorganizations, negotiations, works councils and unions.* Experience leading People Operations or HR operational teams, including Social Security processes, payroll governance and labour documentation.* Ability to design and scale compliant, structured and efficient processes in fast-growing organizations.* Strong analytical, risk-assessment and decision-making skills with a business-oriented mindset.* Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills at senior level.* Degree in Law, Labour Relations or related field; additional specialization is a plus.* Fluent in English and Spanish; additional languages are a plus.**Perks of being part of our team**We care about people and we also offer a lot of benefits for employees:* High growth, multicultural and friendly environment * Continuous training and learning based on your needs * Alan private health insurance * Healthy life with Wellhub(Gyms, pools, outdoor classes) * Save expenses with Cobee* Language classes with Preply * Get the most out of your salary with Payflow* Breakfast in the office and organic fruit * Nora and Apetit discounts * Pet Friendly Factorial is an innovative Business Management Software solution designed to streamline company processes for small and medium-sized enterprises.
