Outside Sales Representative

to support their expansion in the

greater San

Diego area.

With a strong local reputation, a diverse rental fleet, and a leadership team that values autonomy, performance, and work-life balance, this is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated sales professional to build and grow a thriving book of business in a high-potential market.

This role is ideal for someone with a hunter mentality who understands customer needs, fleet utilization, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and grow rental revenue through proactive prospecting, relationship-building, and targeted outreach within the greater San Diego area.

Manage an assigned customer base while continuously seeking new opportunities with contractors, industrial clients, and local businesses.

Promote a wide range of rental equipment to meet customer needs.

Oversee the full rental process: quoting, contract preparation, coordinating deliveries, and ensuring seamless execution from start to finish.

Expand business by targeting competitor accounts, cross-selling equipment categories, and identifying new project opportunities.

Maintain consistent communication with customers, responding to rental requests quickly and professionally.

Represent the company in a polished and professional manner.

Work independently - starting your day from home, managing your own schedule, and focusing on results rather than micromanagement.

3+ years of proven outside sales experience, preferably within

equipment rentals ,

construction equipment , or a related industry.

Strong understanding of customer operations, rental cycles, fleet management, and jobsite needs.

Self‑motivated, disciplined, and driven to build a large and profitable customer base.

Excellent communication, relationship‑building, and negotiation skills.

Ability to identify opportunities, close business, and exceed revenue goals.

Comfortable using digital tools (Google Docs, CRM, mobile apps) for quotes and rental processing.

Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
