We are working with a well-established equipment dealer to hire an
Industrial Sales Representative
for their
Arkansas
territory. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated sales professional looking to grow in the industrial and material handling equipment industry. The company has been serving the Mid-South for decades and offers a wide range of equipment, rentals, parts, and service solutions.
This territory is already well established, with a strong base of existing customers, but also has significant untapped potential. The ideal candidate will be proactive, eager to learn, and excited about building relationships with industrial and commercial clients.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and pursue sales opportunities with new and existing customers across manufacturing, warehousing, logistics, and construction industries
Sell and rent a variety of products including forklifts, pallet jacks, racking systems, storage solutions, and aftermarket services
Partner with service, rental, and parts teams to ensure customers receive full support after the sale
Manage proposals, pricing, and contracts while keeping customer satisfaction a priority
Conduct regular customer visits to build relationships, understand project needs, and present solutions
Follow up on quotes and proposals, ensuring timely communication and order processing
Support aftermarket sales such as maintenance programs, rentals, and operator training
Attend local networking events and trade shows to build connections in the territory

Qualifications
1–3 years of sales or customer-facing experience preferred (equipment, construction, or industrial background is a plus, but not required)
Strong communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills
Self-motivated with a willingness to prospect new business and grow an established territory
Ability to work independently while collaborating with internal teams
Proficient with Microsoft Office; CRM experience a plus
Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
