We are seeking a skilled Assembly Specialist to join the production team for a local manufacturer! Great opportunity for an experienced machinist or technician looking to build the skills needed for a long-term career. Excellent daytime and evening schedule options; PTO, health, dental, vision, and retirement benefits available after temp-to-hire period concludes. FT/Days; 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, or FT/Evenings; 3:30 PM to 11:00 PM, Monday through Friday. $18.00/hr. + 5% differential on evening shifts. The Assembly Specialist will play a vital role in helping meet daily production goals while upholding the companys commitment to accuracy and excellence. Key responsibilities will include operating a variety of machinery and hand tools, performing quality control inspections to ensure parts meet strict specifications, and maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient workspace. Prior experience a must; minimum of 2-3 years experience in a manufacturing setting. Additional technical training or education in manufacturing, machining, or a related field preferred. Responsibilities: Assemble components and products as instructed, using proper techniques and machinery. Conduct inspections and quality checks on parts and finished products to ensure they meet company standards. Operate and maintain various tools and machines, such as drill presses, grinders, and presses. Maintain records of production, track assembly processes, and document quality results. Identify and report any issues with machinery or production, and assist in troubleshooting problems. Communicate with supervisors and other team members to meet production targets. Follow all safety protocols and procedures on the assembly line and adhere to environmental regulations. Perform other relevant duties as requested. Job Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent education required. 2-3 years of experience in assembly or production work, preferably in a precision machining environment. Additional technical training or coursework in manufacturing, machining, or related field of study. Strong attention to detail and good manual dexterity. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and written instructions. Commitment to product quality, safety, and teamwork. Drug screen and background check required.
