Account Executive – Smithtown, NY (Remote or Hybrid)

4.5 days remote
Salary:
$80-110,000 + Benefits & Bonus
Our client,
a 30+ person broker that is known for its professional work environment is currently searching for an Account Executive to run a general commercial book of middle market business.
Responsibilities:
The position involves retention, relationship management, risk analysis, coverage knowledge, negotiating with underwriters, servicing policies and placing new and renewal business ($50,000 to $600,000 PV). The right candidate is professional, career motivated, innovative and works well with underwriters.
Qualifications:
Strong client retention and conflict resolution skills
Minimum 7 years marketing or servicing mid market business.
Experience with multiple carrier rating systems and navigating carrier websites
Able to present to clients and negotiate with underwriters
Capacity to multi-task and be flexible to changing client needs
Self-motivated with a high degree of professionalism
Applied/Epic or similar data management system knowledge is a plus
