a 40+ person broker that is known for its presently professional work environment is currently searching for a Account Executive to run a general commercial book of middle market business
Responsibilities
The position involves retention, relationship management, negotiating with underwriters, servicing policies and placing new and renewal busines
Service and maintain all aspects of a variety of Commercial Accounts ($50,000 to $600,000 pv)
Market renewals and new business on existing accounts
Identify cross marketing opportunities andRound out accounts
Review applications and policies for accurate information
Prepare Reports and Proposals
General processing - claims reporting, auto ID cards, Certificates of Insurances, Binders, etc.
Qualifications
Candidate nust be professional, career motivated, innovative and works well with others
Current NYS Brokers License
Minimum 5 years experience in commercial insurance
Experience with navigation and on-line rating on company websites
Familar with EPIC client management system
