Turner Hill is and 18 hole private club which opened in 2004 and designed by Hurzdan/Fry. In addition to golf, the club has 2 tennis courts, 2 paddle courts, swimming pool, indoor fitness center, and a historic 45,000 square foot mansion which hosts a multiple of events throughout the year.

Join our team as a dedicated 2nd Assistant Superintendent at our prestigious golf course. In this role, you will assist the 1st Assistant and Head Superintendent in all aspects of managing the golf course maintenance operation. You will play a crucial role in overseeing course maintenance, irrigation systems, chemical applications, and equipment maintenance. The ideal candidate will have a passion for turfgrass management, excellent leadership skills, and a strong work ethic.

As the 2nd Assistant Superintendent, you will collaborate closely with the Superintendent and other team members to ensure the course is maintained to high standards. Your responsibilities will include monitoring course conditions, supervising staff, managing inventory, and implementing turf management programs.

To succeed in this role, you should have a background in turf management or a related field. Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential. Previous experience in golf course maintenance and managing turfgrass operations is preferred.

Winter work consists of snow removal and equipment/course maintenance projects.
