HealthFitness is hiring a full-time Recreation Coordinator in Merrimack, NH to lead the delivery of engaging recreation programs at our corporate client siteapprox. 15 miles south of Manchester, NH. This is a unique opportunity to combine fitness and recreation in one dynamic role. You'll design and deliver programs that inspire, from group exercise instruction and personal training to creative recreation leagues that bring people together. Full-time: 40 hours/week Schedule: M-F (no weekends). Primarily evenings from 11 a.m.

7 p.m. Could work some opening shifts 6 a.m.

2 p.m. Based on business needs. Responsible for providing outstanding service to members and program participants to maximize participation, outcomes and customer satisfaction. Key Accountabilities

Supervises facility; interacts with participants and monitors equipment and participant safety. Provides individual and group exercise instruction; educates participants on proper techniques to maximize exercise safety and effectiveness. Conducts fitness testing and assessments and advises participants of results; designs individualized programs to meet the participant's interests, abilities and goals. Oversees all programming, development, design, implementation and evaluation of the recreation program. Promotes recreation program offerings and conducts outreach activities to increase participation. Creates and maintains league and tournament brackets. Designs flyers and posters for recreation league, Projects, Gym Special Events. Performs recreation maintenance responsibilities; ensures playing facilities and equipment are functional and always stocked. Additional duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Recreation Management, Sports Management or related discipline required or an equivalent combination of education, certifications and experience. Current First Aid and CPR/AED certifications required from American Heart Association, American Red Cross, National Safety Council or American Safety & Health Institute. Note: certification must have an in-person component and not 100% online/OSHA compliant. Industry recognized Group Exercise Instructor certification from ACE, AFAA/NASM, ACSM, NCCPT or NETA; if not current, will be required within 60-90 days from hire. NCCA Accredited Personal Trainer certification from an Industry recognized and HealthFitness approved agency; if not current, will be required within 1 yr of hire. Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office. Experience in running leagues and creating tournament brackets required. Ability to maintain a flexible schedule to meet program needs. Strong interpersonal communication and customer service skills. Ability to effectively organize and prioritize work demands. Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team. Compensation: $20 - $22.50/Year. Pay is dependent on experience and qualifications. Additional commission opportunities for someone with an industry recognized and HealthFitness approved Personal Trainer certification. Come join HealthFitness!
