Overview

HealthFitness is seeking a full-time Recreation Coordinator in Marysville, OH to lead the development and delivery of engaging recreation programs across client locations in central Ohio. You will design and implement activities that promote movement, wellness, build community, and inspire participation across a wide variety of ages and interests. Location: 100% in-person at the client site in Marysville, OH, with regular travel to additional locations in Raymond, East Liberty, Anna, and Russells Point. Schedule: Monday–Friday, combination of 10:30a–7p and 12:30p–9p, with Saturday rotation 10a–3p. No Sundays. Schedule may vary based on client needs. Full-time: 40 hours/week. Oversee programming, development, design, implementation and evaluation of the recreation program. Supervise part-time and on-call staff per HealthFitness policies, including recruiting, orienting, training, evaluating and developing staff and planning succession. Promote recreation program offerings and conduct outreach to increase participation. Create and maintain league and tournament brackets. Supervise recreation program and facilities; monitor equipment and participant safety. Design flyers and posters for recreation leagues, projects, gym events. Perform recreation maintenance; ensure facilities and equipment are functional and stocked. Other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Recreation Management, Sports Management or related discipline required. Current Adult First Aid and CPR/AED certifications from a recognized organization (in-person component required). Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office. Experience in running leagues and creating tournament brackets. Flexible schedule to meet program needs. Strong interpersonal and customer service skills. Ability to organize and prioritize work, work independently or as part of a team. Compensation and Benefits

Compensation: $27.00–$29.80 per hour, dependent on experience and qualifications.
