We’re on the hunt for a Regional Sales Director (Northeast). This role will manage and support a team of select Enterprise Account Executives.

Regional Sales Director at Comport The ideal candidate for our regional sales director position will have first-line management experience, while also having years of sales success as an individual contributor. Management experience is highly desired. This is a unique opportunity to lead a strategic team of Enterprise Account Managers, while also uncovering individual selling opportunities in the field. We are looking for a regional sales director that is high-energy, a culture builder, that will lead a team, and own responsibility to help grow and scale our Northeast business. Perfect match: highly successful player/coach execution, with strategic focus on management, having keen ability to drive new business, and manage/mentor/scale existing Comport business.

Travel:

F2F presence in core sales districts, mainly Boston MA, NY Metro, Mid-Atlantic areas. OEM conferences, SKO’s, customer & prospect locations, lunches & dinners, etc. East based travel, with Americas travel for business/industry conferences and/or select customer account locations.

The Deal:

Salary based on experience + commissions. OTE ranges $250,000 – $350,000+. Benefits include Healthcare, Unplugged Days (Mental Health), 401K and Profit Sharing. Regional Sales Director Requirements / Responsibilities:

Deep understanding of IT industry

Proven multi-year high earnings in IT sales

Established relationships w/ customers, prospects and OEM network

Self-starter, difference maker, team player, cares about making an impact, results oriented

Demonstrated sales skills and references in progressing and closing mid-market to enterprise level accounts

Manage a team of select Enterprise Account Managers

Create new customer pipeline by leveraging your respected network

Ability to recruit and maintain talent, scale a winning team

Accurate reporting on sales activity and forecasting to Sr. Sales Management

Develop and help drive geo/district lead generation events and activities

Partnering with field marketing and OEM Partners to execute successful sales campaigns

Capable of successfully managing customer relationships, escalation, etc.

Manage sales pipeline, and help mentor and move opportunities through the sales processConduct weekly forecast meetings

Implement strategies to expand in existing account and capture new logos

Work collaboratively across functions including the Channel, Marketing, Sales Operations, System Engineering, Customer Support, and Product Development.

Demonstrated success in building and scaling high-performance sales teams and achieving ambitious margin targets.

Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills with the ability to drive business growth and manage complex sales cycles.

Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
