Job Description As a Regional Sales Manager (RSM), you’ll play a critical role in shaping our growth in the region by turning opportunities into long-term partnerships and enabling innovation through our leading wireless and positioning technologies. You will be responsible to develop and expand the market position of the company and achieve growth across the entire company portfolio. You will report to the Director of Sales – Americas. You will work with manufacturer reps and distribution to develop and execute a regional sales strategy to gain market share in consumer and industrial markets. You will also be responsible for managing strategic accounts and driving engagements with key stakeholders at all levels.
This role is remote. The candidate should reside in the Denver CO., or Seattle, WA.
Your Responsibilities
Account management for existing and new customers
Find new design-in opportunities in the region and grow the opportunity funnel
Grow the customer base in the region.
Engage with local distributors to drive regional business
Manage and develop manufacturer representatives through regular opportunity reviews, quarterly business reviews, and alignment on KPIs, design-wins, and sales initiatives.
Responsibility for the full sales cycle, including prospecting, lead follow-up, design-win, closing opportunities, getting purchase orders, forecasting and supply management
Collaborate with Business Units to ensure roadmap alignment with regional customer needs and pull Business Unit resources into strategic deals to accelerate sales cycle
Participate in the definition and execution of the sales strategy of the company
Coordination with technical and logistics support
Drive engagements and build relationships on all levels at the customers with key decision makers
Orchestrate technical support for account base (FAEs, Application Engineering)
Identify large and valuable opportunities. Drive the key performance metrics for the account.
Identify major trends and collaborate internally across regions to share success stories to drive new business
Understand customer hardware architecture and what company products can fit
Promote company services at new and existing accounts and meet key sales metric for services
Meet budget, forecast and sales targets in region including targeted KPI’s
Your Skills and Experience
At least 5 years of semiconductor business development or sales experience.
Experience with GPS/GNSS. Wi-Fi/Bluetooth technology preferred
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
Ability to plan and execute in the short term and long term
Frequent domestic and international travel (up to 50%)
Track record in revenue growth and design wins
Works collaboratively with a team to achieve results in a team environment
