Richard Group has a stable growth strategy for the next five years and is looking for experienced people to lead us in new business geographies and sectors to take the company into the next phase of growth. We currently have a need for a Lead Carpenter. This is a prevailing wage job with majority of the work performed within a 30-mile radius of Milwaukee, WI.
Compensation is based off of Davis Bacon Wages.
This role requires 3rd shift (5pm-3am)*
Experience and Qualifications
5-10 years of carpentry experience is required
Must have commercial hospital ICRA experience
Experience in Davis Bacon-Prevailing wage
Excellent understanding of carpentry techniques and methods of installation and construction
Proficient in using electrical and manual equipment and measurement tools
Proven experience with the layout and install of stud framing and trim materials, drywall, cabinetry and accessories, patch drywall sheathing, and the ability to perform simple repairs
Experience with steel stud drywall, rough and finish carpentry work, and installation of doors and hardware is preferred
The ability to read and understand blueprints and written specs
Maintain a clean and safe work site while following company rules and procedures
Experience interacting with other trade contractors in answering questions or solving problems/issues that arise in the field
A motivated and driven individual with strong organizational and communication skills
Capable of performing continuous physically demanding work, including lifting 100 lbs.
Ability to pass a background investigation and a drug test
