This role supports residential remodeling and construction projects in both occupied and unoccupied homes. Key Responsibilities
Execute a variety of residential construction tasks including framing, drywall, finish carpentry, tiling, cabinet installation, painting, and flooring.
Interpret construction drawings and follow project specifications.
Install doors, trim, baseboards, cabinetry, and residential hardware with precision.
Perform basic plumbing and electrical fixture swaps under supervision.
Protect client property using dust barriers and clean work practices, especially in occupied homes.
Maintain an organized, safe, and clean job site.
Load/unload materials and handle demolition or prep work as needed.
Collaborate professionally with clients, managers, and subcontractors.
Follow all safety protocols and meet local code requirements.
Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of experience in residential construction or remodeling.
Strong carpentry and finish work skills; experience across multiple trades is a plus.
Ability to read blueprints and scopes of work.
High attention to detail and craftsmanship in interior finishes.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Must have reliable transportation, a clean DMV record, and necessary tools.
Physically capable of lifting 50+ lbs and working on ladders or in variable weather.
High school diploma or GED preferred.
