Tekst is on the lookout for a driven Business Development Representative based in New York. At Tekst, our mission is to make AI work for the enterprise. As a Business Development Representative, you will be at the forefront of our growth strategy, identifying and qualifying new business opportunities that fuel our sales pipeline.

What will you be doing? As part of the Sales team, you will work closely with Account Executives to generate qualified opportunities:

Research and identify target accounts within your assigned territory, building strategic lists of prospects

Execute multi-channel outreach campaigns (email, phone, LinkedIn) to engage decision-makers and spark interest

Qualify inbound leads and convert them into sales opportunities through discovery conversations

Book qualified meetings for Account Executives with director-level and VP-level stakeholders

Maintain accurate records in CRM, tracking all prospecting activities and pipeline metrics

Collaborate with Marketing to optimize messaging and campaign effectiveness

Consistently achieve monthly quotas for qualified meetings and pipeline generation

What skills and experience do you need?

2-5 years of experience in business development, sales development, or inside sales within B2B SaaS/technology

Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding activity and pipeline generation quotas

Strong prospecting skills with experience using tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Outreach, or similar platforms

Excellent communication skills with ability to engage senior stakeholders and articulate value propositions

Resilient and self-motivated with a competitive drive to succeed

Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar)

Understanding of enterprise software or AI technology is a plus

Proficiency in written and verbal English skills

Based in New York
