Overview Join us as the

Account Manager New Business Development Rep

in Jacksonville, FL! We are looking for someone who can cultivate relationships and drive profitable sales growth within an assigned territory for both existing and new Airgas customers. The role includes managing the sales process, meeting corporate and regional objectives, and maintaining customer retention.

Base Pay with commission, monthly auto allowance, and travel within the assigned territory (minimal overnights).

Key Responsibilities

Manage the sales process and drive profitable growth within the territory.

Develop and execute sales plans using Airgas sales directives and guidelines to service existing accounts, capture new orders, and establish new accounts.

Qualify and pursue sales leads, preparing proposals with pricing, credit terms, and delivery dates.

Maintain deep knowledge of customer businesses to establish consultative relationships.

Track industry insights, Airgas product mixes, and competition to identify opportunities.

Collaborate with internal resources to achieve growth objectives and communicate customer successes and opportunities.

Submit required reports (daily call reports, weekly work plans, monthly and annual territory analyses) via SAP.

Review and manage customer accounts receivable balances to minimize working capital risk.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.

Reliable transportation, a current driver’s license, and minimum liability insurance as required by state.

Preferred: Minimum of 3 years of outside B2B sales experience with proven solution‑selling success and territory management.

Familiarity with industrial or specialty gases and welding supply sales is a plus.
