Founding Account Executive
Storm2’s client is building the future of financial infrastructure, powering complex ledgers, money flows, and orchestration logic for modern enterprises. With strong traction in Europe and a new NYC office, they’re looking for a founding sales leader to help define the U.S. sales motion from the ground up.
Base Pay Range $150,000.00/yr - $160,000.00/yr
Location:
New York City (Hybrid – 4 days/week in office)

This is a hands‑on, high‑ownership role reporting directly to the CEO, focused on closing long‑cycle enterprise deals and shaping the outbound strategy.
✅ Must-Have Experience
2–4+ years selling technical, API‑first platforms (infra, payments, ledgers, or developer tooling).
Closed deals with CTOs, VPs of Engineering, or Product/Payments leaders.
Owned full‑cycle enterprise deals, 6 to 12 months+, multiple stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Sell a highly technical infrastructure platform to senior decision‑makers: CTOs, VPs of Engineering, Product, and Payments.
Own complex, multi‑stakeholder sales cycles (6–12 months) from prospecting to close.
Collaborate closely with two BDRs and Pre‑Sales; build pipeline while refining ICP, messaging, and outbound playbooks.
Drive deals tied to ARR targets and contribute to a high‑accountability, low‑ego team culture.
Requirements
3–5+ years in enterprise sales with at least 2 years selling technical products like infra, ledgers, APIs, payments OS, or developer‑first platforms.
Proven experience running outbound motions and closing long‑cycle deals with engineering and product leaders.
Hands‑on, self‑directed operator who thrives in lean teams with no layers or sales ops hand‑holding.
Strong plus: knowledge of money movement, embedded finance, crypto infra, or financial reconciliation logic.
