Location: Midland, TX.
Base Pay Range $25.00/hr – $33.00/hr
Position Summary As a Meat Department Lead you will drive sales in your area, supervise a team of hourly associates, and deliver more of what members love at a lower cost. You will model expertise in meat, work with other team leaders to meet club expectations, and ensure the department meets company and regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
Supervise the meat department team, delivering on the business plan and ensuring member satisfaction.
Maintain in‑depth knowledge of product specifications, inventory, safety, and compliance standards.
Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and support associate engagement.
Ensure operational excellence by keeping the department neat, clean, and safe while managing forecasting, ordering, and inventory.
Train and mentor staff, identifying skill gaps, fostering career growth, and sourcing talent.
Promote and enforce company policies, ethics, and compliance, supporting a culture of belonging, integrity, and respect for all individuals.
Minimum Qualifications
Six months experience in a meat production department or supervision of a team.
At least 18 years of age.
Ability to complete required job training and assessments within the prescribed timeframe.
Preferred Qualifications
Food Handler Certification (Food Safety).
Experience with meat processing, including boneless and bone‑in products.
