The Opportunity
Candidate must reside in, or be willing to relocate to, the Greater Peoria, Illinois area requiring local travel throughout the surrounding North Central Illinois sales market. Company vehicle provided.
An Account Executive for Ally Auto Finance acts as a field sales representative, promoting the full breadth of Ally’s auto finance products and services to dealerships and equipping them with the tools necessary to grow their business and support their customers.
They identify, pursue, and maximize business opportunities within their local market and create solid working relationships with existing and new dealers.
Work Schedule Ally designates roles as (1) fully on-site, (2) hybrid, or (3) fully remote. Hybrid roles are generally expected to be in the office a certain number of days per week as indicated by your manager. Your hiring manager will discuss this role’s specific work requirements with you during the hiring process. All work requirements are subject to change at any time based on leader discretion and/or business need.
The Work Itself
Manage the full sales lifecycle for Ally’s auto finance product offerings and act as a singular point-of-contact for existing and new dealerships in a designated market.
Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of all Ally’s auto finance products, plans, and programs such as floorplan financing, Dealer Products & Services, and SmartAuction.
Market and promote the full breadth of Ally's products and services including commercial banking products.
Communicate and liaise with designated Consumer Underwriters and peer Account Executives across Ally Auto and Insurance.
Coordinate with key product specialists on the team to provide assistance, training, and consultative services to all assigned dealers.
Manage risk as a Dealership Performance Consultant.
Skills
3+ years in a dealer-interfacing role within the auto finance space.
Ability to leverage industry expertise and relationships to contribute to business strategy and drive profitability.
Full sales lifecycle experience with a strong foundation in business management, analytics, presentation, and relationship selling skills.
Active problem solver with an aptitude for managing conflicting priorities.
High school diploma or GED equivalent required. Bachelors degree preferred.
