The primary purpose of this role is to sell the company's pest management services and products to new and existing residential customers, while providing customer-focused service to grow the business. You’ll be the face of our national brand in your local community, helping clients protect their homes and families. This includes assessing customer needs by consulting and applying knowledge of the company’s products and services to generate pest control solutions.
Responsibilities
Visually inspect homes for pests, pest harborage, and entries; based on assessment findings, sell pest control solutions and preventative maintenance for residential customers
Collaborate with Customer Service Center, Inside Sales, and Technicians for increased opportunities
Partner with Branch Manager to identify revenue streams, develop proposals to resolve pest issues, and propose additional pest household service enhancements
Complete home diagrams using Sales CRM to ensure clear understanding of the customer home and challenges
Follow up on past proposals to close sales opportunities
Provide expert knowledge to new service installations to ensure satisfactory completion
Complete daily activities and sales performance using the company sales CRM
Essential Job Functions These functions have physical demands; reasonable accommodations may be made.
Responsibilities include:
Move up to 10 lbs regularly and 11–20 lbs frequently (lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, or repositioning objects)
Move around regularly—sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling; navigate stairs, ladders, scaffolding, ramps, and poles; maintain balance on varied surfaces
Deal with different pests (spiders, flies, mosquitos, rodents, etc.) and work in small spaces (basements, crawl spaces, attics)
Safely operate a motor vehicle and keep equipment clean
Wear PPE as required and work in confined spaces or narrow passages
What do you need?
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid driver’s license in your state (company vehicle and gas card provided)
Strong social, customer service, and communication skills; related sales experience or training is a plus
Prefer at least 1–2 years of pest technician or sales experience
Travel up to 100% of time within assigned territory
Must pass pre-employment background screen
