Full‑time, field‑based professional responsible for flexible staffing coverage to ensure continuity of patient care and operational efficiency.
Provides direct patient care in the home setting, covers last‑minute shifts, supports onboarding of new clients and employees, mentors field staff, and represents Avid in the community for recruitment, marketing, and engagement initiatives.

Wage/Hour Classification Non‑Exempt

Essential Job Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care in the home setting, ensuring compliance with clinical and agency standards.
Serve as an immediate, reliable resource to cover last‑minute callouts, open shifts, and new or vacant cases.
Assist with onboarding and transition of new clients and employees, ensuring smooth service initiation and satisfaction.
Provide leadership and field mentorship, assisting with case orientation and skill development of new employees.
Support improved case conversion rates by maintaining flexibility, responsiveness, and professionalism.
Ensure full compliance with Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) policies.
Accurately and timely document all visit care and activities per company policy and state regulations.
Ambassador & Recruitment Support
Represent Avid positively in the community, participating in events, schools, and job fairs.
Support recruitment and engagement of qualified field staff through referrals, networking, and outreach activities.
Collaborate with HR and field leadership to identify staffing gaps and recommend solutions.
Promote Avid’s mission, vision, and values through professional conduct and community presence.
Perform other duties as assigned to support agency operations and patient care.
Requirements Qualifications
Current CNA license and current certification/registration with the licensing board or department in state of practice.
Current compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies.
Minimum of 1–2 years of field experience in home care, hospice, or healthcare (preferred). CPR certification is preferred and may be required for some clients.
Must meet transportation, language, and cultural requirements specific to branch needs. Must demonstrate a compassionate attitude toward care of the sick, ability to read, write, and follow directions, and maturity to handle demands of the role.
Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and thrive in a fast‑paced environment. Proven professionalism, reliability, and commitment to exceptional patient care and customer service.
Full‑time (40 hours per week) with flexible scheduling to meet agency and staffing needs. Hours Monday–Friday, with weekends and holidays as needed.
Travel required: must have a valid driver’s license, proof of insurance, satisfactory driving record, and a reliable vehicle for business use. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
ADA Requirements Routinely required to sit, stand, walk on variable surfaces, climb occasional ramps or stairs, use foot controls. Must use hands for tasks, reach beyond mid‑line, reach overhead or chest level. Requires vision abilities including close, distance, peripheral vision, depth perception, ability to adjust focus. Must use universal safety precautions. Must lift, push, pull, carry minimum 25 pounds and stoop and bend up to 2.5 hours per 8‑hour shift.
