Overview The HRIS Analyst is skilled in the management and support of one or more HRIS applications and provides support services to business users. The primary focus for the Analyst is to be responsible for maintaining and monitoring the Human Capital Management (HCM)/Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) to maximize availability and performance, provide troubleshooting and corrective action to resolve business issues, and ensure the usability and support for application enhancements and bug fixes. Secondarily, the Analyst will provide similar support for other Corporate systems. The Analyst will act as a Subject Matter Expert for application functionality, solutions, training, and documentation. Although the Analyst position is not a pure development role, it will require the use of some development/programmer competencies to complete work efforts. This role will help with creating custom complex reports, bulk uploads, custom data extracts and technical (non‑functional) issues. Responsibilities
Configure HR System (UKG Pro) to meet required specifications
Participate in system implementations and coordinate and test system changes and upgrades
Test and perform analyses in HRIS system to ensure integrity and accuracy of database
Prepare and distribute HR analytics and metrics
Build, edit, and maintain custom reporting in the UKG People Analytics BI module (IBM Cognos)
Maintain security and safeguard confidential information
Provide system training and ongoing support to HR, Payroll and Finance
Perform quality control and audits of HR programs
Participate in HRIS module implementation, integrations or system conversions
Identify opportunity areas to improve usage of data fields, workflows, setups, permissions, and reporting to drive increased efficiency and data accuracy
Effectively manage the employee self‑service program with UKG Pro identifying where opportunities exist to promote increased adoption across the organization
Assist with HR Intranet site uploading and/or modifying information and maintaining user accounts
Support HR Operations, Compensation & Benefits, Talent Acquisition and Payroll/Finance teams with ad‑hoc projects, reports, data analysis, and information requests
Assist with data updates, imports/exports
Document internal processes, training manuals, and controls
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or relevant work experience
3+ years of experience in HR technology and analytics (Required)
HRIS experience within UKG Pro HRIS (preferred) or similar cloud‑based systems such as Workday, SAP, Ceridian
Proficient with Microsoft Office products: Microsoft Excel (advanced) and Access (strong)
Highly proficient with Excel Pivot tables, Vlookup, and Macros
Proficient with UKG People Analytics BI reporting (IBM Cognos), or similar BI analytics tool (Tableau, Power BI)
Experience managing and analyzing structured and unstructured data using tools
Proficiency in descriptive and inferential statistics
Ability to translate results of complex analyses into data‑driven insights to ensure key messages resonate with the target audience
End‑to‑end analytics lifecycle expertise: diagnosis, data cleaning, integration and transformation, analysis, visualization, and presentation
Ability to collaborate with peers and cross functional teams, working across multiple time zones
Creative and nimble with ability to overcome obstacles to solve hard problems
Flexible and responsive, with ability to adapt to rapid change in direction or business priority
Openness to feedback and strong self‑awareness
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work within the confines of data governance and privacy standards
