What We Offer Opportunity for Growth We’re looking for driven individuals with the will to learn and grow. As a Truck Sales Representative at Allegiance Trucks, you’ll have ample opportunities for advancement and professional development.
Product Diversity Representing multiple truck and trailer product lines, you’ll have a diverse portfolio to bring to market, catering to a wide range of customer needs and preferences.
Customer Focus Build upon existing customer relationships while actively seeking new opportunities for growth within our market. Your ability to connect with customers and understand their needs will be instrumental in driving success.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed targets.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities while nurturing existing relationships.
Provide exceptional customer service and product knowledge to clients.
Directly responsible for all sales within the assigned territory, including but not limited to assigned regional, house accounts and local chains.
Write customer orders and sales contracts according to company guidelines.
Listen to and resolve customers’ complaints regarding products or services.
Call on prospective customers to explain company services or to solicit new business.
Achieve sales profit standards.
Propose customer terms based on customer profitability and creditworthiness.
Maintain sales standards by account.
Coordinate sales with the other departments to work toward a common goal.
Adhere to sales policies and procedures.
Maintain liaison relationship between Allegiance Trucks & Trailers and its customers.
Market development within assigned territory.
Customer merchandising and program implementation.
Customer pricing/profitability within corporate guidelines.
Customer terms within approved guidelines.
Lift up to 50 pounds.
CRM module must be kept up to date, sales activities recorded and fully utilized.
Required Experience
High School diploma or equivalent.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Ability to work and learn independently.
Knowledge of truck specifications.
Familiarity with accounting and other computer software as needed for dealership operations.
1 to 3 years of experience in the trucking/transportation industry.
Preferred Experience
While a CDL is not initially required, Allegiance Trucks is willing to assist the right candidate in acquiring one.
Prior sales experience is preferred, but we welcome individuals with a strong drive to succeed and a willingness to learn.
