Position Summary The Outside Sales Representative will sell products and services offered by the company to current and new clientele, increasing sales by developing and maintaining relationships with customers and clients. Duties include identifying prospective customers, following up on potential sales leads, and recommending marketing strategies for target markets.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Build and maintain a network of sources to identify new sales leads.
Communicate with customers and leads to understand needs and suggest products and services.
Demonstrate product or service functions and utility based on customer needs.
Ensure customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and relationship management; resolve any post‑sale issues.
Maintain communication with existing and previous customers, alerting them of new products and services that may interest them.
Maintain detailed reports of sales activities including calls, orders, sales, lost business, and any related problems.
Provide periodic territory sales forecasts.
Perform other duties assigned by management.
Education & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Sales, Business, or related field, OR
At least five years of related experience.
Excellent interpersonal and customer‑service skills.
Excellent sales and negotiation skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
Ability to function well in a high‑paced and sometimes stressful environment.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Other Duties
Adhere to the Code of Conduct, Confidentiality Agreement, and Company Safety Policy.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to travel.
