Director of Youth Ministries

2,500-member, mission-minded UM congregation seeks full-time Director of Youth Ministries. Prefer graduate training and UM experience. Candidates should be capable of full engagement with highly active youth ministry including weekend retreats, high-energy fellowship and summer mission trips. Candidate should possess a mature faith in Jesus Christ, yet be open to the typical questions and struggles of most teens. Responsibilities include: • Leadership to both Middle High and Senior High ministries • Recruit, train and equip adult volunteers • Pastoral care to youth and their families • Collaboration with Pastors and Christian Educator, especially with year-long 6th-grade Confirmation Competitive salary. 3% matching pension benefit.
