Base pay range $90,000.00/yr - $140,000.00/yr
Broker dealer located in Midtown Manhattan looking to bring on board a “Trade Surveillance Foreign Exchange” to join their team. This role is currently in a hybrid schedule (2 days in office / week).
Responsibilities
Monitor and analyze FX trading activity to identify potential instances of market abuse, manipulation, or policy breaches using surveillance tools and exception reports.
Review and investigate alerts generated by trade surveillance systems, escalating issues and documenting outcomes in line with regulatory and internal standards.
Support regulatory compliance by ensuring trading practices align with relevant rules (e.g., FX Global Code, MiFID II, Dodd-Frank), and assist in audits and regulatory inquiries.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including compliance, legal, and technology to enhance surveillance capabilities and ensure robust risk controls are in place.
