
Proposal Coordinator

LSA is seeking a full-time Proposal Coordinator to lead proposal efforts and support firm-wide marketing activities. The successful candidate will work collaboratively to prepare winning proposals, statements of qualifications, and lead interview presentations, managing the full proposal development cycle: facilitating Go/No‑go decisions, leading proposal kick‑off meetings, developing production schedules, assisting technical project managers in developing win themes, drafting and editing text, and handling final submittal production and delivery. The role also includes assisting with LSA’s e‑marketing initiatives on various social media platforms and other marketing‑related activities. The successful candidate can be based out of Northern, Southern or Central California, and the position may qualify for remote or hybrid work environments.
Responsibilities • Lead proposal development and manage the full cycle of proposal activities. • Facilitate Go/No‑go decisions and lead proposal kick‑off meetings. • Develop production schedules and coordinate with technical professionals across LSA’s nine offices. • Draft and edit proposal content, ensuring alignment with win themes and client requirements. • Finalize submittal production and deliver proposals. • Assist with e‑marketing initiatives including social media posts, website maintenance, and email marketing campaigns.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, English Literature, Communications, Business Administration, Political Science, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
2–5+ years of experience with RFP, RFQ, and RFI responses for the A/E/C industry.
Experience using Deltek or other CRM programs.
Strong writing, editing and communication capabilities.
Ability to work well in a high‑pressure environment and meet simultaneous deadlines.
Self‑motivated, assertive, and capable of handling multiple projects concurrently.
Effective interaction with individuals at all levels.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially Word; familiarity with InDesign.
Availability for occasional travel and coordination of company presence at conferences.
Experience with social media postings, website maintenance, and email marketing campaigns.
Compensation
The salary range for this position is $65,000 to $85,000 per year, commensurate with the candidate’s qualifications and experience.
