Amplity has partnered with one of our leading pharmaceutical clients for an exciting direct hire placement opportunity.
Job Summary The Professional Sales Representative implements tactics defined by Marketing and Sales plans, delivers balanced sales presentations to current and prospective customers, and engages in effective business planning to maximize product sales while complying with regulatory requirements.
Essential Functions
Achieve all product sales performance goals for the assigned territory.
Distribute samples and record sample transactions following Company Policy and PDMA guidelines.
Develop comprehensive sales presentations using approved marketing materials.
Maintain knowledge of product disease states and indications.
Deliver sales presentations to customers with a frequency based on call goals.
Implement the sales model and DiSC personality profiles when engaging customers.
Complete pre‑ and post‑call analysis to improve customer interactions.
Review and analyze sales data, and use developmental budget funds.
Adhere to compliance policies and guidelines.
Develop a daily call schedule for efficient territory coverage.
Complete administrative reports and meet deadlines.
Safeguard company assets (laptop, iPad, fleet vehicle, etc.).
Maintain an average of 8+ calls per day and 40+ calls per week to key healthcare providers.
Enter calls immediately into the Veeva System via iPad and respond to email daily.
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BS) required; life science major preferred.
Work Experience:
1+ year successful outside sales experience; life science industry preferred.
Skills:
Strong communication and presentation skills (intermediate level).
