Community Outreach Specialist
Are you a creative, flexible, and dependable professional looking to make a difference? Do you have a passion for supporting children and youth in our communities? If so, this role is for you! As a Community Outreach Specialist, you will develop engaging interventions and activities to support children and youth living with mental health, emotional, and/or behavioral challenges. HCRS offers strong supervision and robust training to ensure staff have what they need to be successful, engaged, and confident.
Compensation & Benefits $500 Sign On Bonus
Pay: $20-23.44 per hour
Paid Time Off: 4 weeks (pro‑rated), 12 sick days, 9 holidays per year
Responsibilities Develop engaging interventions and activities for children and youth with mental health and behavioral challenges.
Collaborate with families, staff, and community partners to deliver person‑centered services.
Qualifications
Education and/or experience working with children and families.
Flexibility, positive attitude, strong organizational and customer‑service skills.
Desire to be part of an energetic team.
Ability to collaborate with persons served, their families, and colleagues in a team environment.
Valid driver’s license, insurance, and reliable transportation.
High school diploma or GED.
Ability to work a flexible schedule and be available after school until 6 p.m.
