Alera Group is looking for a Small Business Account Manager. We are seeking highly motivated colleagues who bring experience and enthusiasm to our team – joining us may be the perfect fit for you! We are passionate about our clients’ success in the areas of Employee Benefits, Property and Casualty Insurance, Retirement Plan Services, and Wealth Services. With a network of offices nationwide, our commitment to collaboration allows us to offer national resources combined with local service. Responsibilities
Process and manage client service requests:
Prepare high-quality carrier submissions, review and analyze quotes, create professional proposals and summaries, review endorsements and policies for accuracy, process premium audits, and issue certificates, binders, and invoices as needed.
Ensure effective communication and follow-up:
Maintain timely, professional interactions with clients, carriers, producers, and internal team members to ensure smooth workflow and client satisfaction.
Organize and prioritize workload:
Manage personal and delegated tasks efficiently, conduct monthly renewal meetings with producers and account managers, and ensure all deadlines are met.
Maintain professional expertise:
Stay current with carrier underwriting requirements, complete training and certification goals, and perform additional duties as assigned by the Team Manager.
Qualifications
Active state Property & Casualty (P&C) Agent’s License required
Industry-related certifications preferred or expected
Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent professional experience accepted
