What You’ll Do on a Typical Day
Works with the service manager, customer, and technician to identify required maintenance.
Manage billing and invoice productivity.
Works alongside the service manager to provide the customer with clarity on the concern and the necessary next steps to correct it.
Offers additional services and repairs to customers as detailed on the technician's multi‑point inspection findings (if required).
Computes cost of replacement parts and labor to restore vehicle to condition specified by customer.
Estimates cost of mechanical, electrical, or other repairs.
Enters itemized estimate on service order and explains estimate to customer.
Schedules appointments with customer.
Maintains facility standards for repair and order production.
Maintains an organized, clean and safe work area.
Complies with Company policies and procedures.
Observes all Federal, State, Local and Company safety rules and regulations in the performance of duties.
Managing service lane reception, flow of work dispatched and technician proficiency.
Our Ideal Candidate Education or Experience:
High School Diploma or GED not required but preferred.
Must have a clean driving record and valid driver's license.
At least 2 years of automotive mechanical diagnosis, problem‑solving, and repair experience.
Certificates and Licenses:
ASE certifications preferred.
Skills and Abilities:
Ability to pass background check and drug screen.
Safety conscious at all times.
Must be able to work in a results‑oriented, fast‑paced environment.
Teachable, hardworking, and possess general mechanical aptitude.
Must have strong time management skills, as well as close attention to detail.
Reliable and dependable with self‑initiative.
Ability to complete all tasks assigned properly, with little to no follow‑up.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and time constraints.
Ability to learn and operate provided service equipment and hand tools.
Demonstrate excellent customer service and communication skills.
Basic computer and/or smart phone skills.
