The Leasing Agent will market properties utilizing social media and websites and set up showings and open houses. Responsibilities

Process contracts with tenants and collect security deposits to ensure closing of the deal

Arrange for any required maintenance and periodically inspect properties to ensure our level of company standards are being upheld

Validate all personal references and rental application information

Promote available properties using various social media and websites to help ensure quick rental contracts

Showcase properties and their amenities to potential tenants in order to help secure rental contracts

Conduct property showings for potential tenants and provide detailed information about available rental units

Negotiate lease terms and contracts with prospective tenants in alignment with company policies and legal requirements

Coordinate move‑in and move‑out processes, including conducting property inspections and handling security deposit refunds

Utilize marketing strategies to attract new tenants and maintain high occupancy rates for rental properties

Stay updated on local rental market trends and competitor activities to recommend competitive rental prices and identify growth opportunities

Qualifications

Willingness to learn new tools, systems, and technologies

A proven record of sales experience and success

Familiar with leasing regulations

Excellent communication and negotiation skills

Ability to use computer programs such as Microsoft Office, Excel, and Publisher

Working knowledge of real estate law and leasing practices

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

To qualify, you must agree to a commission‑only compensation package

Obtain an active NY Real Estate License

Demonstrated leasing experience

Authorization to work in the US

Proficiency in marketing and lead generation

Compensation $125,000+ yearly commission at plan earnings
