About the Economic Mobility Center The Economic Mobility Center (EMC) is a mission-driven non‑profit that was formed by the Commit Partnership and Dallas College that is committed to transforming regional systems to ensure more young people — particularly those historically underserved — navigate successful journeys from middle school through post‑secondary education into sustainable‑wage careers. EMC is the umbrella non‑profit where both the Dallas County Promise and Economic Mobility Systems (EMS) operate. We serve as a workforce intermediary inside Dallas County, aligning K‑12, higher education, employers, and community partners to close equity gaps and accelerate economic mobility while running the Dallas County Promise. Outside Dallas County we serve to support other intermediaries and partners in developing and executing their regional talent systems that support student success.
Position Summary Economic Mobility Center is seeking an Implementation Manager (Salesforce) who is self‑directed, passionate about student outcomes, and excited about working in a start‑up environment.
The Implementation Manager (Salesforce) will serve as technical support for school district implementations of a Salesforce‑based case management system to track student progress to and through college and into the workforce and ensure successful program outcomes for districts.
This position reports to the Senior Director of Enterprise Applications and will play a key role in ensuring that Economic Mobility Center realizes its vision to expand the use of equity platforms (1) to help school districts plan and execute a college and career strategy through user‑centered design that empowers students to own their data and create their narrative (2) activating data for educators and administration to better case manage and progress monitor towards equitable outcomes.
RESPONSIBILITIES Systems and Products
Support technical components of Salesforce implementations for district partners
Configure and customize Salesforce to meet partner requirements
Maintain third party tools for texting, email, and report automation
Data Management and Reporting
Support the timely integration of data from varied sources, including extracting, transforming, and loading data into Salesforce through Dataloader or other ETL tools
Create custom dashboards to report and monitor student progress
Ensure data quality, integrity, accuracy, and accessibility as well as student privacy and data security
Support and Documentation
Develop and maintain clear documentation for system configurations, workflows, and partner‑specific implementations.
Provide responsive technical support to district users, including troubleshooting issues, tracking resolutions, and escalating as needed.
Create and update user guides, training materials, and FAQs to promote consistent adoption and effective system use.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree or Associate degree in a relevant field
At least 1 year of experience working with Salesforce
Preferred education‑related work experience
Preferred experience with Salesforce Education Cloud
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES
Familiarity with designing and maintaining platform tools and basic dashboards
Interest in improving workflows and learning about automation tools
Enthusiasm for working with data, including data collection and organization
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with a variety of teams and stakeholders
High attention to detail and commitment to follow‑through
Ability to produce quality work under tight deadlines
Flexibility and excitement to work in a start‑up environment
