Overview Job Title: AutoCAD Designer / Detailer Location: Leesville, South Carolina Industry: Manufacturing / Steel Structures Job Description Theoris Services is assisting our client in their search for an AutoCAD Designer / Detailer to join their engineering and design team. Our client is an employee-owned organization specializing in the design, fabrication, construction, and repair of steel storage tanks. This role will support the detailed design and drafting of steel tanks and foundations while ensuring compliance with applicable industry standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in structural design, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Responsibilities Design and develop steel storage tank and foundation drawings using AutoCAD (ACAD) Analyze customer requirements and translate them into effective project designs Produce detailed drawings and specifications in accordance with industry standards Support sales, shop, safety, and field teams with drawings and technical details Work with steel fabrication and welded structural components Utilize Excel for calculations, tracking, and documentation Collaborate with engineers, designers, customers, sales teams, and project managers to ensure designs meet customer needs Requirements Proficiency with AutoCAD (ACAD) Familiarity with steel fabrication and welded structures Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams High school diploma or equivalent (preferred) Preferred Qualifications 2+ years of AutoCAD experience Prior experience with steel structures, tanks, or similar heavy manufacturing designs Experience supporting shop fabrication and field construction About Theoris Our goal is to Fuel Your Career!
