Word Processor
to provide high-level document production support for complex transactional matters for our client in Charlotte, NC.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare, edit, and format a variety of transactional legal documents, including loan agreements, closing binders, and financing documents.
Design, update, and maintain automated document templates using Microsoft Word and other platforms.
Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and staff to implement document automation solutions that streamline workflow.
Proofread documents for grammatical, typographical, and formatting accuracy.
Troubleshoot document issues and provide technical support as needed.
Maintain confidentiality and uphold data security standards.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a legal environment, preferably in real estate finance or transactional law.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, including track changes, complex formatting, and template creation.
Experience with document automation tools such as Contract Express or HotDocs.
Familiarity with document management systems (NetDocuments preferred).
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a high-volume environment.
Detail-oriented, efficient, and capable of working independently and collaboratively.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to learn new software and adapt to evolving workflows.
