Personal Lines Account Manager: Brazos Valley
Dean & Draper – Brazos Valley is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Personal Lines Account Manager to join our Team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the ongoing management of our personal clients by providing exceptional service.
Client Relationship Management
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring high customer satisfaction.
Regularly communicate with clients to address any inquiries, updates, and service requests. Provide clients with information on policy options, renewals, and adjustments to meet their needs.
Policy Management
Oversee the renewal process for personal lines policies, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
Assist clients with policy changes such as address updates, vehicle changes, and additional coverage options.
Review policy terms and conditions with clients to ensure they are adequately covered based on their evolving needs.
Sales and Retention
Promote and cross-sell personal insurance products (auto, home, renters, etc.) to existing clients, identifying opportunities to enhance coverage.
Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities based on client needs, preferences, and life changes.
Claims Support
Provide support to clients during the claims process, including follow-up and escalation when necessary.
Compliance and Documentation
Ensure compliance with Texas state insurance laws, regulations, and industry standards.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for all policies, claims, and transactions.
Assist in audits and reviews related to personal lines accounts.
Team Collaboration and Training
Work closely with underwriters, claims adjusters, and other internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
Provide training and guidance to our new team members or new hires, promoting a collaborative work environment.
Market Research and Industry Knowledge
Stay current with personal insurance market trends, including new products, policy changes, and industry innovations.
Understand and monitor competitors' offerings in the Texas market to remain competitive.
Client Education
Educate clients about their coverage options, exclusions, and the claims process.
Help clients understand how personal lines insurance works and the benefits of various coverage types.
Preferred Qualification High School or equivalent degree. Must have all licenses as required by the State Department of Insurance to discuss and/or sell insurance in states where the agency functions. Ability to use personal computer, calculator, agency automation system, and proficiency in various software programs, including but not limited to Microsoft Word and Excel.
