Women's Health Account Manager – Kansas City East Territory
Exeltis is a family‑owned women’s healthcare company committed to serving patients and improving women’s health worldwide. The Women’s Health Account Manager will promote the company’s contraceptive and women’s health product line to OB/GYNs, primary care physicians, and Planned Parenthood Clinics.
Responsibilities
Educate physicians and staff on the value of the portfolio of women’s health products, providing product, competitive, and marketplace information to help providers choose the best option.
Build and sustain strong relationships with healthcare professionals and office staff, delivering meaningful customer experiences that result in satisfaction and loyalty.
Analyze sales data to identify opportunities; develop and execute action plans to achieve appropriate call frequency, lunch and learn sessions, etc., exceeding sales expectations.
Handle objections, questions, and concerns from HCPs, employing all appropriate resources to address them.
Communicate customer concerns to HCP staff or company personnel to resolve issues promptly.
Collaborate with sales management, regional teammates, and Commercial Team members, and take on leadership opportunities as needed.
Represent the company at conferences, training events, exhibits, and product launches.
Maintain compliance with all regulations and company policies.
Must Haves
Bachelor’s degree required, with emphasis in the life sciences preferred.
At least 2 years of pharmaceutical sales experience, with documented success ranking in the top 25%.
Current relationships with OB/GYNs a plus.
Strong knowledge of budgeting, action planning, and all elements of sales execution, including routing, call activity, and CRM.
Excellent business acumen and proven territory management skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as a strong team player.
Up to 10% overnight travel required.
Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
