Women's Health Account Manager
Exeltis is a family‑owned women’s healthcare company committed to delivering innovative solutions across the life span of women, from fertility and healthy pregnancies to contraception and menopause. Exeltis recently completed the acquisition of Agile Therapeutics, adding Twirla to its U.S. portfolio – the only combined contraceptive patch available in the U.S. The Women’s Health Account Manager will play a pivotal role in expanding the market for women’s health products within the Kansas City East Territory.
Responsibilities
Act as the primary contact for OB/GYNs, high‑decile PCPs, and Planned Parenthood clinics, creating demand and executing sales & marketing strategies for the Women’s Health product line.
Educate physicians and staff on the value of Exeltis’s portfolio, providing product, competitive, and market information to aid provider decision‑making.
Utilize critical thinking, dialogue skills, and appropriate techniques to gain consistent access and build strong relationships with HCP customers and office staff.
Analyze sales data to determine potential and execute an action plan to meet and exceed sales expectations through appropriate call activity, frequency, lunch & learns, and other territory activities.
Anticipate, identify, and address HCP objections, questions, and concerns using all available resources.
Investigate customer concerns and collaborate with regional teammates and commercial team members to resolve issues in a timely manner.
Attend conferences, training, exhibits, meetings, and product launches as required.
Maintain compliance with all regulations and adhere to company policies.
Must Haves
Bachelor’s degree in life sciences or related field.
At least 2 years of pharmaceutical sales experience with documented success in the top 25% of the field.
Current relationships with OB/GYNs (preferred).
Strong knowledge of budgeting, action planning, and execution of all sales elements, including routing and customer relationship management.
Proven territory management and strong business acumen.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Up to 10% overnight travel required for territory management and meetings.
