Youth Director
Westminster Theological Seminary, Leith-Hatfield, PA, United States
Bethany Bible Fellowship Church of Hatfield, PA is seeking a man to develop and implement a year‑round evangelism and discipleship ministry for the youth of our church and community, foster spiritually strong youth, and engage and reach the families of the youth for Christ. Our preference is to hire a man full‑time, but we’re open to applicants who meet all other qualifications and are interested in part‑time hours for their initial employment.
Basic Criteria
Male applicant
Formal agreement with church vision, goals, and ‘Articles of Faith’ of the Bible Fellowship Church denomination
Membership & attendance at Bethany Bible Fellowship Church
Bachelor’s Degree: Completed or working on B.A./B.S. from a four‑year college or university (Bible college or Seminary preferred)
Prior youth ministry experience
Teaching & leadership experience
All childcare clearances (as prescribed by the state of Pennsylvania)
Qualifications (see also 1 Timothy 3)
Strong walk with God through a growing personal relationship with Jesus Christ
Understanding of God’s Word and ability to teach young people
Teachable, with a desire to grow in faith and abilities
Highly motivated self‑starter
Passion for youth ministry
Understanding of youth culture today
Love for people where they are
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Good role model
Team player with effective relational skills (works well with others)
Organizational and administrative skills
