Position Overview The Sales Director leads all community sales efforts to achieve full occupancy with a waitlist. This role is responsible for managing the sales process, developing outreach strategies, and ensuring a seamless move-in experience for residents and families. The Sales Director serves as a key ambassador for the community, building strong relationships and delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities Sales Leadership & Occupancy Management
Drive community occupancy to 100% with a waitlist through proactive sales strategies.
Guide prospects through the entire sales process, from inquiry to move-in.
Analyze occupancy trends, market conditions, and sales cycles to develop strategic plans.
Outreach & Relationship Building
Create and execute monthly and quarterly outreach plans in collaboration with the Executive Director or General Manager.
Build and maintain strong relationships with referral sources, community partners, and lead generators.
Plan and host community events, open houses, and outreach activities to increase visibility and generate leads.
Move-In Coordination & Community Presentation
Ensure apartments are move-in ready and all documentation is complete prior to resident arrival.
Maintain a clean, tour-ready community at all times.
Provide exceptional customer service aligned with our Hearts of Excellence framework.
Team Collaboration & Compliance
Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to support resident needs.
Protect confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and company policies.
Model Majestic’s Core Values and promote a positive image of the community.
Qualifications
Proven sales experience; senior housing experience strongly preferred.
Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Flexibility to work evenings and weekends for tours, events, and move-ins.
Physical ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and assist in resident evacuation if needed.
