Lead the charge in developing strong customer relationships, growing accounts, and delivering tailored solutions that drive value across our East Bay/San Jose territory, primarily Oakland, San Jose, and Fremont, with travel to Fresno and Stockton. Key Responsibilities
Grow the Business:
Drive sales through a consultative, knowledge-based selling approach; identify new opportunities by understanding customer pain points and aligning them with our products and services. Deliver Solutions:
Design customized solutions using Sealed Air’s full portfolio; provide insights and recommendations that help customers operate more efficiently, sustainably, and profitably. Build Strong Relationships:
Cultivate long‑term relationships with end‑users and distributors; become the go‑to resource for product knowledge and business support. Drive Strategic Sales Planning:
Develop and execute a sales plan focused on profitable growth; prioritize top opportunities and align efforts with business goals. Support and Retain Accounts:
Proactively engage with customers to ensure satisfaction, resolve issues, and continuously add value to their business. Improve Profitability:
Partner with internal teams (Marketing, Pricing, Product Development) to optimize account performance and bring new innovations to market. Stay Organized & Efficient:
Keep sales activities updated in CRM, manage pricing and promotional programs, and handle budgets and travel planning effectively. Qualifications
You're driven, consultative, and solutions oriented. You thrive in an autonomous, performance-based environment and are comfortable traveling, preferably overnight. Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree required (MBA/MS a plus). 3+ years of experience in outside sales. Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel overnight as needed. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM systems. Bonus Points
Experience selling into manufacturing, logistics, or industrial sectors. Experience working with custom products and equipment. Background in value‑based or consultative sales. Familiarity with packaging, materials, or automation industries. Understanding of distribution. What Makes You Successful
A strategic thinker with strong business acumen. Salary Range
Total Target Compensation (Base + Commission):
$116,000 – $145,000. The range disclosed complies with applicable state and local pay transparency laws. Offers within this range will be determined by education, experience, and internal alignment. The position may also be eligible for annual performance bonuses and other incentive programs.
