Regional Sales Representative – Charlotte, NC
Reliable Automatic Sprinkler Co. is looking for a Regional Sales Representative to cover the Charlotte, North Carolina territory. The role focuses on building relationships, driving new customer acquisition, and exceeding sales goals.
Responsibilities
Maintain and grow relationships with current customers in the assigned territory.
Identify, qualify, and pursue new sales opportunities through cold‑calling and other outreach methods.
Prepare and analyze sales reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
Develop a territory sales plan aligned with corporate objectives and profit targets.
Provide feedback to the Regional Sales Manager on forecasting and territory management.
Recommend product, service, and policy changes based on market and customer insights.
Resolve customer complaints by investigating issues, developing solutions, and providing recommendations.
Travel up to 75% of the time, including overnight travel to meet clients.
Promote a safe workplace by following all safety procedures and reporting hazards.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field.
3+ years of outside sales or engineering experience.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer‑service skills.
Strong sales planning and time‑management abilities.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM platforms (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics).
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel up to 75% of the time.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong presentation and business‑writing skills.
