About the Role: STR is the global leader in hospitality data benchmarking, analytics and marketplace insights for the global hospitality industry. STR delivers data that is confidential, accurate and actionable to empower our clients to strategize and compete in their markets. The Sales Operations Analyst is a key member of the STR Sales team; providing support aimed at accelerating sales performance. This position will assist with strategic planning, analytics and process excellence. The Sales Operations Analyst supports STR’s global sales leadership but reports directly to the RVP, Americas. This role is 5 days onsite in our Nashville, TN office.

Responsibilities

Develop an in‑depth knowledge of STR’s core customer segments and product offerings, and utilize this knowledge to successfully lead the analytics for pipeline and account planning processes.

Maintain and own pipeline and forecasting reports on a weekly, monthly and annual basis and assist sales leadership with managing sales funnel and revenue pipeline.

Act as liaison with the STR technology and Operations team to communicate business requirements and modifications for Web Enterprise and other internal tools to implement best practices to provide real‑time reporting to various stakeholders.

Aide in developing and maintaining the Sales team’s book of business creations, territory planning, and account assignments to facilitate the expansion and alignment of the STR sales team.

Participate in ad‑hoc projects; generate, analyze and report KPI’s and metrics to meet management needs and requirements.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited, not for profit, in‑person college/university.

Track record of commitment to prior employers.

5+ years of sales operations, financial planning and analysis or other related experience.

Ability to navigate, manage and articulate large disparate data sets into presentations and consumable formats.

Strong analytical skills and great attention to detail.

Positive interpersonal and strong verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to provide exceptional customer service to the sales team and interact with all levels of management.

Work collaboratively to build positive and effective business partnerships across all cross‑functional teams (Research, Marketing, Product, Operations, Finance).

Capacity to embrace change and quickly adapt to new situations, changes in direction and alternating priorities.

Experience supporting sales teams in a growth environment with quota attainment.
