Employer Industry: Agricultural Cooperative Why consider this job opportunity: Salary range of $53,000 - $65,000, with a target bonus of up to $10,000 Join a Fortune 250, farmer- and member-owned cooperative recognized as a Top Workplace Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, PTO, life & disability insurance, and a 401(k) Opportunity for professional development and growth within a leading organization Flexible remote work environment within the designated geographic territory Chance to enhance the brand image and make a positive impact in the dairy industry What to Expect (Job Responsibilities): Conduct farm visits to evaluate existing feeding programs and recommend nutritional solutions Perform up to 25 farm calls per week to promote and sell feed products and programs Organize and lead educational meetings/events to support brand awareness and drive sales Engage in on-farm interactions and animal evaluations in various weather conditions Network within the industry to foster relationships and generate additional business opportunities What is Required (Qualifications): Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science or a related field strongly desired Proven sales experience in the agricultural or dairy industry Basic knowledge of nutritional and feeding recommendations for dairy animals Strong computer skills, particularly in MS Office and willingness to learn software like HerdSmart and Salesforce Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds and travel up to 15% overnight How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications): Experience in dairy husbandry and current management practices Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong organizational and time management abilities Proven ability to build relationships and work collaboratively in a team Solid public speaking skills We prioritize candidate privacy and champion equal-opportunity employment.
