- Supervise and direct the daily activities of warehouse associates.
- Oversee inventory management, including cycle counts and accuracy checks.
- Coordinate all shipping and receiving activities.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
- Train and develop warehouse staff, promoting teamwork and efficiency.
- Implement and maintain operational procedures to optimize logistics.
- Manage equipment usage and maintenance schedules.
- Address and resolve operational issues and employee concerns.
- Proven experience in a warehouse supervisory or lead role.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, and logistics.
- Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to perform lifting tasks, up to 50 pounds, when necessary.
- Excellent understanding of safety protocols and a commitment to a safe work environment.
- Must wear appropriate PPE and enforce its usage among staff.
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and relevant software.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
