Order Picker

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Order Picker for our busy fulfillment center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring customer orders are accurately and efficiently assembled. Your tasks will involve locating items in our warehouse, retrieving them, and preparing them for the next stage of the logistics process. We emphasize a safe working environment, and adherence to all safety regulations is mandatory. This position involves standing for extended periods, walking throughout the warehouse, and performing regular lifting of items up to 30 lbs. All necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) will be provided, and its use is required. Responsibilities:

• Accurately pick items from designated warehouse locations based on order slips.
• Use scanning devices to track inventory movement.
• Verify picked items to ensure order accuracy.
• Consolidate and stage picked orders for packing.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of picking areas.
• Adhere to all warehouse safety rules and guidelines.
• Properly wear and utilize all required PPE.
• Report any stock issues or discrepancies to supervisors.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in order picking or warehouse picking roles is beneficial.
• Ability to perform tasks requiring frequent movement and lifting (up to 30 lbs).
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Familiarity with warehouse scanning technology.
• Understanding of safety procedures and the importance of PPE in a logistics setting.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be reliable, punctual, and possess a strong work ethic.
• Good communication skills.
