Project Designer | Pellerin Laundry Machinery Sales Company Location: Kenner, LA Pay Range: $27.00/hr - $29.00/hr This range is provided by Pellerin Laundry Machinery Sales Company. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more. Responsibilities Equipment layouts using AutoCAD software. Calculate equipment utility requirements using Microsoft Excel for mechanical schedules. Produce installation drawings including detailed locating, mechanical, and electrical requirements to customers and salesmen. Respond to various requests for information pre-sale and post-sale using Outlook. Consult with vendors to optimize plant layouts. Collaborate with equipment vendors efficiently when involved in projects together. Communicate with customers on issues and potential solutions. Travel as needed to take measurements, attend job site meetings, and take part in installations. Qualifications BS in Industrial Technology, Industrial Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related applications engineering. Experience in mechanical drawing/design work, AutoCAD (2D and 3D) design software skills. High level of mechanical aptitude and ability to articulate mechanical concepts. Must be willing to travel throughout our 7-state territory as needed. Excellent English written and verbal communication skills. Requires ability to be aware of situations while on job sites to ensure safety. Ability and experience to communicate effectively and directly with customers.
