Employer Industry: Managed Care Organization (MCO) Why consider this job opportunity: Salary range of $54,106 - $68,173 Health insurance with no premium for employee coverage 24 days of Paid Time Off (PTO) plus 12 paid holidays in your first year Work-from-home options available for most positions Opportunities for professional growth in a diverse, inclusive culture Quarterly stipend for remote work supplies What to Expect (Job Responsibilities): Manage and coordinate claim issues received from providers, members, or other entities via various communication channels Ensure timely updates and responses to claims ticket queue and call logs to notify the provider community Conduct claims research, including reviewing claims processing systems and previous tickets Analyze trends of provider issues and recommend updates for the Claims Processing System and staff training Coordinate and manage calls and tickets related to claims What is Required (Qualifications): High School diploma/GED with a minimum of six (6) years of relevant experience, or an Associate’s degree with four (4) years of experience, or a Bachelor’s degree with two (2) years of experience Extensive experience in medical claims research, including reviewing denials and member eligibility Strong written and verbal communication skills with the provider community Must have a valid driver’s license Must reside within North Carolina and be able to travel within the catchment area as required How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications): Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Human Services, Public Administration, Liberal Arts, or Humanities Experience in the public mental health field is highly desired We prioritize candidate privacy and champion equal-opportunity employment.
