About the Role
We’re building out our Go-To-Market team, and we’re looking for a Business Development Representative (BDR) to join us. In this role, you’ll be the first point of contact for prospective law firm customers, playing a key role in fueling PERSUIT’s growth. You’ll partner closely with our Law Firms focused team to identify, engage, and qualify new business opportunities.
This is a great opportunity for someone who is curious, driven, and eager to grow within a high-growth, expanding sales organization. This role will be based in our NY office.
What You’ll Be Doing
Prospect outbound with potential clients via phone, email LinkedIn and other channels to generate interest in PERSUIT
Book initial meetings with target personas
Collaborate with Account Executives to generate, schedule, join and participate in meetings
Research target accounts and hyper-personalize outreach to key decision-makers
Maintain accurate contact records, documenting outreach, follow-ups, notes and next steps in our CRM, assist with prospect and market segmentation
Continuously learn about PERSUIT’s product, market trends, and customer needs to refine messaging
Base salary for NYC applicants - $65,000
Who You Are You have…
1–3 years of experience in a BDR, SDR, or similar customer-facing role, preferably in B2B SaaS
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Like way better than other jobs that say the same thing.
Highly driven, self-starter attitude with strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with evolving priorities
A collaborative mindset and a willingness to learn and grow with the team
Bonus Points if you have:
Experience using tools like HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, video, phone cadencing
A background in legal, legal tech or worked at law firms
Prior experience selling into legal, procurement, or professional services teams
A track record of exceeding targets in a previous role
