Overview The Business Development and Market Enablement Consultant reports to the Head of Business Development in the Americas Region. The Head of Business Development in the Americas Region has ultimate responsibility for all facets of Chain IQ’s Americas business including growth supporting regional sales initiatives throughout the sales and delivery lifecycle. This position will also work closely with the Head of Global Market Enablement to ensure work aligns to the Global Chain IQ Standards. As part of the team, you will have the unique opportunity to be a part of an agile, dynamic group whose aim is to solve short and long‑term challenges for our clients and generate revenue for our firm. This role is integral to support end‑to‑end market execution from account management planning, business development and priority account management, delivery and ASQ process.

In this role, you will be required to:

Drive an efficient and effective sales support process by collaborating with internal subject matter experts (SMEs), to design and tailor sales collateral and competitive offerings/proposals for specific customer challenges

Remain with the client initiative, as required, to provide project management support including project reporting and final deliverables as required

Provide support to the Head of Business Development in the Americas to produce deliverables including reports, presentations and communications.

Markets Enablement Strategy Support As part of this team, your responsibilities will be aligned to specific regional support and will include:

Business Development and Priority Account Management

Sales Strategy and collaterals

Collate/build/expand sales collaterals (multi‑stage decks, calling cards, regional, industrialized (e.g. PE))

Support the development and maintenance of the RFP portal/collateral with support function/maintenance

Account and Relationship Management

Support, manage and maintain regional account relationship management through the use of templates and company best practices

Support, manage and maintain the regional ASQ (Assessment of Service and Quality) win cycle methodology

One Chain IQ Methodology

Build marketing materials following our standard approach to market the solution

Report progress of sales ("supported by Finance") and client satisfaction monitoring

Branding, Marketing and Communication

Assist in the development and management of Chain IQ and marketing materials following a standard collateral look and feel

Support Marketing and Communications activities as needed for the Head of Business Development in the Americas

Your responsibilities

Support the Head of Business Development in the Americas, and Engagement Managers to develop viable opportunities for growth, cross industry with a high growth marketing in alignment with the regional Account Management plans and Priority Account Management strategies

Functionally work with the Head of Global Market Enablement team, regional Engagement Managers Team, Ambassadors and Subject Matter Expertise (SMEs) to:

Refine marketing materials, prospect presentations and other pertinent sales collateral

Contribute to work in progress (WIP) sales offerings and/or new productized market services and solutions

Support request for proposals, (Rfx) and ad hoc requests from the sales team and other areas of the business timely and to a high standard

Manage and adhere to project timelines, approved quality standards and maintain documents in the global excellence center to facilitate knowledge sharing

Maintain and update Salesforce entries and reporting if required by Region Head

You offer

2-5 years of business / consulting experience; Procurement or Supply Chain or Financial Service sector experience a plus

Proven track record of designing, fostering and delivering C‑Suite collateral to support the account planning strategy

Highly responsive with the ability to take initiative, high degree of business acumen and interaction with all levels within our firm

Given the nature of tasks, this candidate must be trusted to maintain confidentiality

Experienced, independent thinker with proven experience and capability to manage multiple simultaneous projects and stakeholders and deliver results

Excellent organization and planning skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure

Able to demonstrate awareness of business and organizational sensitivities and reflect this in approaches to communicating change

A team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Excellent writing skills and an ability to translate complicated concepts into comprehensible language for the target audience

Experience of developing and testing new creative assets

Strong time management and an ability to adhere to tight deadlines

A good aptitude to learn – with a willingness to share knowledge and to learn from others

Experience with electronic knowledge, repository management, intranets/portals, collaborative tools

Advanced skills in MS Office including PowerPoint and equivalent creative solutions

Educated to Degree or equivalent
