As a Custom Project Sales Consultant, you will work directly with custom home builders on multi‑million‑dollar projects across Houston, helping them select the perfect doors and openers for each home. You will guide builders through product selection, provide accurate quotes, and coordinate with operations to ensure flawless project delivery. Every day brings new challenges, opportunities to shape extraordinary homes, and the chance to build lasting business relationships. This role is ideal for someone self‑motivated, detail‑oriented, and passionate about luxury residential construction sales.
You Will Be Trusted To:
Build and maintain strong relationships with custom home builders and contractors
Visit high‑end job sites to review plans, take measurements, and discuss design options
Prepare quotes and proposals quickly and accurately
Coordinate with operations to ensure smooth project delivery
Represent top‑quality products with professionalism and product knowledge
Manage your sales pipeline, follow up on leads, and grow repeat business
Identify new opportunities to expand accounts and increase territory sales
Maintain a professional image and represent Jacobs Overhead Door with integrity and expertise
You Qualify With:
1 to 3 years of outside sales experience, preferably in construction or home services
Strong relationship building, communication, and presentation skills
Experience managing the full sales cycle
Comfortable with construction plans and project details
Self‑motivated and organized
High school diploma or GED and valid driver’s license
Willingness to learn about products and grow sales skills
Additional Success:
Experience selling to custom home builders or in residential construction
Knowledge of garage door products or similar technical sales
Familiarity with CRM systems
